Our Services
At the Lethbridge Muslim Association (LMA), we are committed to providing a wide range of spiritual, educational, and community services to support the Muslim community in their religious and personal lives.
Our Masjid offers all five daily Salahs in congregation, allowing the community to come together in worship.
-
The primary purpose of Salah is to worship and please Allah. Muslims perform Salah as a means of communication with Allah and to be grateful to Allah for everything they have been given.
-
Salah is a physical action with spiritual benefits and it involves a number of physical movements such as standing, bowing, prostrating and sitting. It also involves the recitation of the Holy Qur’an along with a number of Duas (supplications).
Jumu’ah Salah is held every Friday in congregation, accompanied by a Khutbah (sermon) delivered by the Imam.
